RESCUE helicopters and jetskis are combing the sea off Kings Beach at Caloundra after reports of someone in trouble in the water.
Surf lifesavers scoured the water shortly before 6pm after reports from the shore of a person in the water.
The search is continuing with rescue helicopters and jet skis but a police spokeswoman said no one had been reported missing and there were no unclaimed possessions on what has been a popular swimming beach during today’s long weekend heat.
