In 2016, you couldn’t flip through a single channel without catching a new look at the infamous JonBenét Ramsey case. There were five projects in the fall alone. But just in case you’ve binged all those and still can’t get enough, Netflix is going to start streaming a brand-new look at the JonBenét case, this time with a fictional twist.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix has acquired the rights to Casting JonBenét, which will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival this month. The movie, directed by Kitty Green, heads to the Ramsey family’s hometown to talk to neighbors about how the sensational news story affected their everyday lives.

But the main difference between this and all the other TV specials is that this movie mixes documentary and fiction narrative. Here’s the official description for the movie, via Netflix:

“Casting JonBenét is a sly and stylized exploration of the world’s most sensational child-murder case, the unsolved death of six-year-old American beauty queen JonBenét Ramsey. After twenty years of media speculation and public hysteria that cast JonBenét’s parents, John and Patsy Ramsey, of killing their own child, Casting JonBenét presents audiences with a hybrid of fiction and non-fiction filmmaking that examines the macabre legacy of this tiny starlet.”

A photo released by Netflix features a group of blonde little girls in JonBenét-style pageant outfits. It seems like this directly relates to the “casting” mentioned in the title.

Casting JonBenét will start streaming on Netflix, and air in a small number of movie theaters, this spring.
