The tubby tyrant celebrated new year by declaring that North Korea’s Intercontinental Ballistic Missile was nearly ready to be launched.
He has also threatened to launch a nuke on the day that Donald Trump is elected into office.
Now North Korea has directly blamed the US for their nuclear weapon policy and for antagonising their “supreme ruler”.
“The ICBM will be launched anytime and anywhere determined by the supreme headquarters of the DPRK”
Foreign ministry spokesman
A North Korean foreign ministry spokesman said: “The ICBM will be launched anytime and anywhere determined by the supreme headquarters of the DPRK (North Korea).
“The US is wholly to blame for pushing the DPRK to have developed ICBM as it has desperately resorted to anachronistic policy hostile toward the DPRK for decades to encroach its sovereignty and vital rights.
“Anyone who wants to deal with the DPRK would be well advised to secure a new way of thinking after having clear understanding of it.”
North Korea’s ICBM, with a range of 5,500 miles, could cause devastation if launched at the US.
Bitter neighbours South Korea, who Kim has also threatened with his nukes, said it has created a crack special forces team ready to kill the trigger happy leader if he plans on detonating the missiles.
Sources from the country have also revealed the US has backed their strategy to take care of Kim, with navy seal forces even taking places in the command unit.
US defence secretary Ash Carter confirmed that the US could shoot down a nuclear missile detonated from North Korea and would do so if it was destined for US territory.
President-elect Donald Trump also played down the threat of North Korea, tweeting: “North Korea just stated that it is in the final stages of developing a nuclear weapon capable of reaching parts of the U.S. It won’t happen!”
