BOMBS AWAY: Kim is ready to launch his long-range nuke

The tubby tyrant welcomed in the new year by bragging his intercontinental ballistic missile was in its final stages of preparation and would be ready to launch soon.

Now South Korean security officials believe the rotund ruler could trigger World War 3 by launching the nuke as he continues to put pressure on the US.

And Institute for Far Eastern Studies professor Kim Dong-yup said there was strong possibility that the dictator would fire the ICBM in 2017.

“The additional improvement of the ICBM means the North will launch a real KN-08 and KN-14 into the air, which have been displayed at the military parade”

He said: “The additional improvement of the ICBM means the North will launch a real KN-08 and KN-14 into the air, which have been displayed at the military parade.”

A North Korean defence secretary warned the ICBM could be launched “anytime, anywhere”, and blamed the US for provoking their “supreme leader”.

It is believed that the notorious leader of the despot nation has been considering firing the missile on US president-elect Donald Trump’s first day in the White House .

But the US and South Korea have teamed up to launch a special forces squad capable of taking down Kim if he chooses to launch his arsenal.

It comes after South Korea’s joint chief of staff revealed the despot nation has made significant technical advances ahead of the ICBM’s launch.

JCS head of public affairs Roh Jae-cheon said: “Our military judges that the North has achieved a significant level of ability to launch missiles such as controlling a quantity go fuel and adjusting launch angle.

“We consider the North’s continued test-firings as an attempt to step toward additional improvement.”
