If you think Robin Thicke-Paula Patton news is so 2015, we’re gonna be the bearer of bad news.

The ex-spouses are still feuding, and now their custody battle over their 6-year-old son includes allegations of child abuse.

Apparently the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services has an active investigation into Robin after Julian told school officials he’d been repeatedly spanked at home.

The school reported Julian’s comments to DCFS on January 3, and that’s when the inquiry began.

In the wake of the spanking claims, Paula blocked her ex-husband from seeing Julian and even filed an emergency order asking a judge to limit Robin to monitored daytime visits with Julian.

According to TMZ, legal docs reveal the 41-year-old actress told Robin, “Julian is scared of you.”

Meanwhile, the “Lost Without U” singer is claiming Paula is just lashing out after he prevented her from attending the funeral of actor Alan Thicke, Robin’s dad.

“Paula did not have a positive relationship with my father and often made negative comments to me about my father,” Robin said in the docs. “As such, she was not welcome at his funeral.”

Furthermore, the 39-year-old admitted to spanking Julian, but not to the degree of legally-recognized child abuse.

“On a very rare occasion and only as a last resort, I will use light spanking, but it is consistent with the law — open hand on the butt,” he said. “This is the type of discipline to which Paula and I agreed during our marriage.”

Now TMZ is citing sources who say the judge held a hearing this morning, January 12, and denied Paula’s request, meaning Robin still has joint custody.

Meanwhile, the Department of Children and Family Services investigation is ongoing, and social workers have interviewed Paula once and Julian twice.
