Amber Sherlock – anchor for Australian news service Channel 9 – blasted colleague Julie Snook for wearing a white top that matched hers on yesterday’s programme.
The matter was made worse as guest psychologist Sandy Rea – in another studio – was also wearing a white top.
In the off-air footage, a furious Sherlock demanded: “I need Julie to put a jacket on because we’re all in white.
“I asked her before we came on – Julie, you need to put a jacket on.”
Trying to defend herself, Snook – who was also in a separate studio – said she hadn’t found the time to get a jacket before going on air, but her counterpart was having none of it.
“Come on, I told you two hours ago,” she says, before saying she would personally call the Nine wardrobe department to “get something”.
The guest – on the far right of the bickering women – looked appropriately uncomfortable at the exchange.
Snook then suggested she could go out and get a jacket to solve the problem, if it was an issue.
“It is an issue,” Sherlock responded. “Go and grab a jacket.”
Moments after the exchange, the trio were live on air with Snook unsurprisingly donning a black jacket.
